Having a mental illness means she’s had the time and opportunity to explore her creative side, which is a silver lining to the otherwise dark rain cloud. Lisa likes to use a lot of vibrant colours in her artworks because they help her feel happy. Her artworks often feature animals, especially her two cats, Oliver (who has crossed the rainbow bridge) and Toby. She likes her finished artworks to be uplifting to the viewer. Lisa has previously won the AFTM logo design competition, and has exhibited artworks in various locations around Australia and overseas. This includes a group exhibition at Heiser Gallery and a touring exhibition of Europe.
